Last year, the software and hardware manufacturer for the automotive OEM and supplier industries, IPG Automotive, initiated an evaluation of the company’s processes and passed a quality management audit. The technical service provider TÜV Rheinland has attested the compliance with the standards of quality and awarded the ISO certification 9001:2015.
Karlsruhe, March 7, 2017 – IPG Automotive systematically revises its processes. Quality is monitored consistently across the board – whether in development, product management, sales or the manufacturing of turnkey test systems for clients. This has been attested by TÜV Rheinland. With this certification, the solution provider commits itself to a continuous improvement process and gives permanent priority to customer satisfaction.
“We are proud to receive the ISO certification. It attests to our quality standards and our quality-focused company culture,” said managing director Steffen Schmidt. “We understand this certification as a well-deserved recognition of our long-standing methods. It reflects great credit on the everyday work of our entire team,” Schmidt continued.
The quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 is the most prevalent standard in the field of quality management. It defines requirements for a company’s quality management system which the company needs to satisfy in order to verifiably meet customer requirements. Companies may verify this compliance by passing a certification process performed by an independent certification body. The validity of the issued certificate is limited; the certificate can be renewed periodically.
